2015-03-06 23.07.26 copy.jpgHello guys
thats my Heavyweight Vast & Fast in day 40 and it has started flowering after undergoing a great shock from transplanting to early. Yet it caught up but I see that some inner especially branches are very thin and weak. they are not going to hold the buds expected. My regular fems did have strong branches when they entered flowering. So do autos continue to veg in some extent while also flowering, or should I remove lower branches and the weak ones? Very anxious again!!!:DragonSmoke:

Thanks friends

As far as I know, once autos are flowering, they're flowering. I've dealt with nothing but autos, and skinny, weak branches has never been an issue. Maybe it just happened to be that particular plant. Can you support the branches by tying a string? up high, then tying the other end to the branch?

Yes there are a few weeks with autos that they begin the flowering stages and are finishing up veg so you will notice SOME growth while flowering but not a significant amount...I would not go trimming on lower branches if it was already stunted by transplant... just keep an eye on the branches if the bud up and start leaning on ya just help the little girl out and brace her arms up somehow

Thanks friend well the issue is that their too thin they need to get some weight in order to produce buds otherwise they will be tiny, unless the plant continues to put weight all together both in buds and stems?

Hi PP, while autos don't add much height or width once in full bloom branches will get thicker and stronger if they are getting the light they need. I would not do any trimming. Worst case if something really starts to sag just tie or stake it up.

sometimes they have those spindly branches. I've got a White Widow that's growing the same way and had other Sativa dominant strains that did that. Either the branches will thicken, or you will have to tie them up when the buds start weighing them down

I have a Cheese Candy right now that was thin and spindly as it went into flower and the branches are thickening as the buds grow, like others have said I'd just keep an eye on it, you aren't going to wake up one morning and it suddenly snapped, you'll see warning signs. It's a somewhat contentious topic but there's a fairly broad consensus that you should try to plant in the final pot with autos, I just mention it in case you didn't know. Best of luck!!

You got some pretty good dudes throwing some great advice your way, and some of those same guys have helped my ass out of a tight situation more than once! You should be good to go!

I really like this post..Thank you Peter for it..I wouldn't worry too much..one day at a time..Just let nature do her thing...And if your daughter fall's down ..well help her up and brush her knees off..She'll be fine..
