hi guys,

at last I got my plant going, but in comarison to the moby dick xxl and the 60 day wonder from DNA that I grew before, the plant seems to be not growing as fast as the ones before. I am in day 27 in my grow.

I just wanted to ask if this is a thing with the strain, or did I do something wrong untill now.

my setup is:

Strain: Dinafem's Amnesia XXL
Pot: 1 x 20Lt. Airpot
Medium: Soil (Biobizz Light mix)
Environment: no name tent ( silver is the brand name but probably some Chinese product) 60 cm x 60 cm x 160 cm
Lighting System: 250W HPS w/ cool reflector
Carbon Filter: 330m3/h Active Carbon Filtre (Can-lite)
Extraction fan: TD Silent 250/100
Intake: Passive
Nutrients: Root Juice, Topmax, Bio Bloom, Bio Grow, Alg A Mic

I have been feeding it pure water till start of this week, where I gave it 1lt of water with 0.5ML of grow, 0.5 ML of algamic and 0.5ML of root juice.

I'm adding some pics here also, thanks for the help in advance

Yeah I think they are normally a bit bigger at this point. Your plant looks generally healthy but maybe a bit underfed depending on how light green the leaves are (hard to tell in the lighting), since you didn't feed much yet. Could also just be a smaller pheno.

Hi poly,

Thanks for the input. I will give it a good feed meaning 4lt of water with grow about 0.5ml per lt. untill i see a run off this time. Or do you think i should just give it 1ml per lt of water.

Im just afraid of giving it nute burn.

What do you say?

In the veg stage you don't need to worry about nute burn as much. It is easy to see N tox, just watch for darker leaves and the leaf tips turning down, so you will be able to react in case of overfeeding.

Also watering to runoff helps to not overfeed.

Hard to be more specific because I haven't used the bio line of nutes before.

dude you were so right, after the feeding yesterday, all the leaves are and branches look more alive and I have seen a groth spurt already.

god damn, you think this will effect my yield a lot?

thanks for the help by the way, really appreciated :)

Great! I think it may cut the yield but the xxls yield a lot so I could still see getting 3-4oz. There's still time, until about day 42, to get some decent size and colas.

Alongside nutes, make sure they are soaking up as much of that light as they can. They need that energy, even an inch or 2 can make a difference (that's what she said)...

Like PolySize said, XXL's are BIG suckers, there's plenty of time left on her!
