Dinafem DinaFem Critical +

I guess this is a good thing, but at 14 days my plants seem to have filled up 5 gallon Smart Pots with roots, They are literally through the bottom of the pots. Is this something to worry about since the plants are so young? I assume this is a good thing, but I wouldn't mind some feedback.

This is a very good thing. We have found with autos that the rootzone is one of the most important parts to a successful grow. What we have found is that all the root activity is done in the first 3 weeks just before you start to get pre-flowers showing. This has got to be a good thing as the roots are established by week 3 then the plant can put most of the energy into bud formation. A very good sign of a nice healthy vigorus plant. Great job!

Excellent!, and I learned something new. I had not learned that they establish their roots in 3 weeks. Thanks for the quick response Mark.

No problem what so ever and remember this is just my conclusion and not a definitive but very logical and what I have found through 10 years of growing and 20 years befor that being brought up on a farm. If you think about it auto,s or ruderalis is a relatively new trait or even it own cannabis variety. These were found in some of the hardiest places in the world and with their short lifespan I would say the root,s are very established by week 3.

Well my first grow is rapidly coming to a close. I haven't pulled the plants out in a while, so they've kinda grown into each other. The Critical+ is on the left. It's not bad, but it needed more cal/mag I guess.

Would you be able to get any pre-harvest shots up before you give them the chop?

@Dinafem-Mark Yes I can. On Wednesday I'm gonna pull them out, and give them a flush in the tub. I'll get some decent pics then.

Thank you very much this will be great to see and very much appreciated. If you wanted you could also put them in the best picture thread for a chance to win on the next Bi-monthly giveaway
