Dimmer settings

My manual states to keep light 18" from canopy ( top of plant)
25% Seedling
50% Veg
100% flower

Shes in preflower im seeing pistils, is it better to up the setting to 70 ish? and continue raising it daily? or wait for flower, then jump from 50 to 100% ?? same goes for seedling - Veg?

A gradual increase to see how they handle it is best. My lights recommend 100% for flower and I never had a grow that my settings were past 90%.

@GsC4477 Welcome to AFN. You can download the App Photone to you phone and Use a fairly accurate meter to measure PPFD

I like 300PPFD for seedlings 500 PPFD at two weeks to flower and then full speed ahead all the way up to 1200 PPFD if your lights can do that.
