I add about 1/8-1/4 cup of bone meal to each 3-4 gal pot ... it's a good mild soil that I've used for a couple years ... I sometimes add Coast of Maine Quoddy (only available up north) but I don't think it adds much to the grow ... I recycle my soil ... 50% old w/ 50% new ...
Also 25%-30% perlite ... roots grow faster in loose soil ...
dr earths black bag works well 20 bucks or so 1.5CF and already as mellow auto like proprietary conponets in it to aid in a compost tea only feed. add a gallon of perlite maybe then a dash of lime and thats it.more if you have stuff like steer manure and bokashi and the like but the later is where ya wanna be at from all ive read what your trying to do man.
I just realized if im adding tea that has guano in it mainly bat. I bet that will lower the ph in my soil or coco huh? Do u guys ph your teas with ph up or down to get it to the same ph as ur nutrient or just water ph levels?
use guanos sparingly.mainly for flower and add that lime man.shouldnt be a problem fir 1.5CF bag use aboiut 2/3 cup to 3/4 cup.some perlite, and boom.easy.
Ya i saw the guanos are high p so that's a bloom helper for sure. I see most people brew a handful of ancient forest and a handful of worm castings in some knee high panty hose. Then add ur mykos and black strap molasses directly to the water. Anything else you guys can think of to help this recipe. Its being brewed in that xtreme gardening titan brewer. So do you have to ph your brew or no? Or do you just test your coco or soil with a soil ph meter to know. Ill be growing in a three gal smart pot so i assume if it gets to acidic add a couple tablespoons of dolomite lime crushed from their pelet form
