I started these two plants at the same time but using different mediums.

Left plant is a Northern Lights auto has lighter fan leaves grown with Moonshine Batch 64 no nutes

Right plant is Amnesia Haze auto has darker fan leaves grown with FFOF no nutes

My question is what’s the difference in their colors? what’s lacking more say the left plant... both are 37 days. will be adding tiger bloom in soon.

No photo to take a look at...
but, it's going to be hard to answer. You could be looking at a difference in the medium. Or nothing more than the nute load differences between mediums (one with more available magnesium). or, nothing but genetic differences between strain causing what your seeing.

ahh dam stoner moment here ya go

Looks like one mix (NL?) Is a hotter mix. I see burning on tips. Also looks like a calcium deficiency starting.

I'd be looking to a pH issue first (just me), many soils will fall off on pH about the month and a half mark... then move on to feeds and remedies. Plant on the right looks great. Maybe a little light on mg, a little purplish, but that could also be genetics.

thanks for the response. The moonshine Batch 64 would be the hotter mix. I always ph my water to neutral even though the soil is ore phd.

so i’ll just let them ride until i introduce Tigerbloom in two weeks? or some cal mag?

Even if the water is great, I would check the soils pH. I've had bags that initially started I'm the mid 6s, only to fall into the mid 5s in early flower... (as the plant feeds and puts out waste, the pH can change) exactly when you don't want it. I'd slurry test the medium, and get a sence of where you are, then if its low, you have a shot of getting it corrected.
Equal parts of soil and water ( couple tablespoons of each) mix and let set for about of time it would take water to run thru the pot. Carefully put in your pH probe and get a reading. I try and take it halfway between plant and side of pot, and an inch or 2 down. This will give the pH in the root zone where the plant is feeding. Use the same water you would for watering.

definitely going to have try this thanks what medium would you choose next grow? FFOF or the Batch64. My hydro guy swears by the moonshine

Out of the 2, I would probably pick the batch 64, I ran FF for years, I began having issues with their quality control about 4 or 5 years ago.
The batch 64 looks a little hot too me though, so I don't know... might tame down some on a second run.
When I had my issues I switched over to nectar for the gods #4 blend never looked back. Basically same mix as sunshine #4.

Yea I just decided to run the Batch 64 and add some more perlite. I'm going to ditch the tiger bloom and just find a good top dress method. Next grow cheech biggums by daz mephisto

I tested the run off on both today ppm for The Batch 64 was at 1000 ppm neutral ph and FFOF was at 650 ppm neutral ph
