Hi! My name is Anthony and this is my first time growing auto flowers! I have a set up, with about 5 3 gallon pots and 5 different stains in them. I germinated my seeds and stuck them in last week on Wednesday, it is now Friday & my plants seem rather small for their age! Night have buried them too deep, could this have ruined my babies? It took about a week for 3 of them to sprout, and one did just yesterday, making it 8 days after I put them in soil! Am I just paranoid and my babies are fine or did I screw them up? & also when using my fox farm trio & general age of the plants should I refer to when they sprouted or when they were planted? I have pics of linked in! image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg

They look a litle stretched out so I would lower your lights some or add more lights.Do not feed them yet wait at least another two weeks. And don't over water, just keep them moist. The age of plants is usually started when they sprout.:stylez rasta smoke:

I agree with Namvet.

What kind of light are you using?

How many inches above the plants?

How many hours a day are you running it?

Good grow karma to you!

when my seedlings are that young, i use a mist bottle to water them slightly. i keep the soil moist but not wet:they are so easily over watered the first couple of weeks. your seedlings look fine. GL

Thanks for the help guys!

I am using two 23 watt fluorescent bulbs and one 15 cuz it's the only kind I had left. I will take a picture of the actual grow space and post it ASAP! & with regards to light time, I am giving them as much as possible without my mother seeing it lol, she never goes in my garage but during the night it is visible through the windows due to the light, so usually they are turned off from when it gets dark to when she falls asleep, I'd say 20/4 or so!

Well I had to switch it up a little, now i have 3 23 w bulbs, two white one warm whiteimage.jpg. Unfortunately that's the best I had, still have the 15 W one that's white if the yellow is a problem & here is the pic I promised.

I would suggest, ever so gently, that you build yourself a grow-box or tent so as to keep the light from everyone's eyes but yours. I would then encourage you to make sure those lights are directly above the plants.

Hopefully you have plans to get a bigger light.:peace:

Either way, keep us posted!
