RED DANSON
The star of TV's Becker.
Doing this test grow of #DHAZE99 for @AutoBeanStalk. Not positive who the breeder is, both parents are from HighRise Seeds. Using seedfinder.eu, and a couple other websites, I've been able to put together a bit of a family tree.
So we should be seeing a lot of the cindy influence coming through, with different combinations of ghaze and diesel. I'm a big cindy fan, so pretty stoked about these seeds.
All three testers were planted on the evening of Friday, October 9th into 2, 3, & 5 gallon geo-pots. I run a fully organic program, super soil in the bottom 1/3 of the pot, 50/50 blend of my base soil [EB Stone Organics 420 bend on this run, recently switched to Nectar 4 — both fairly local products to the West Coast of the USA] up to about 50% full, and then the top 50% just the base. I use the Santiam Organics Mycofusion line of mycorrhizal products for rhizosphere health when planting, and planted the seeds directly into rapid rooters that were planted into the pots.
The seed in the 5 gallon popped first, in just over 48 hours it was poking above the rooter, with the 2 gallon following the next morning.
The seed in the 3 gallon was a dud, and never ended up popping. One of the three seeds was smaller than the other two, I'm guessing it was this one. By any means, two of three aint half bad, and will tell a better story than just one seed, so onward!
