I don't see anything wrong man. What strain is that?

Wow! I figured out how to post a pic. And it only took me 3 days! Anyways this little girl has som weird growth pattern going on. After the little round set of leaves is a set of single bladed leaves and the set after that is another set of single bladed leaves but with no middle shoot coming from it to make more growth. the first set of single bladed leaves has side shoots coming from it but that is the only new growth. It's like it naturally topped itself. Anybody??

Think Different. She is healthy besides the deformity.

Looks pretty normal to me. Plants start weird sometimes. Just roll with it.

I wouldn't count on it. Like squid said they sometimes exhibit strange growth in the beginning. BUT... If it stays like that ain't you a lucky bloke? You get two colas, natural ones, for the price of one!

You must know that toping on such young growth usually gives 4 main colas so I'm rooting for you and your mutant MJ

I thought it was normal until I looked closer yesterday. There is no new shoot coming from the middle to make upper levels. The only branching that will be made is the two side growths on the first set of leaves. What caught my attention was the second set of single bladed leaves after the first set. Shouldn't there be three at least on each leaf? Then I noticed no middle growth shoot. She'll grow like a topped plant I guess. That is if she doesn't do any other weird growth.

Nah... It's fairly common to have the first two nodes with one finger leafs. My new auto-blueberry on the second node has 2 finger leafs! A pair! :)
