What are your thoughts on defoliation is it worth it in the long run or does it stunt growth if not done precisely I was curious about trying it to get more light to bud sites but this is my first grow so I wanted to keep mucking about in things I'm not familiar with to a minimum. Do you think mine would benefit from it?

I'm new myself, so I can't answer but I'm gonna sit back and learn with ya. Beautiful ladies.

Honestly I'm against doing it from what I've read so far I was just curious of other opinions. I'll check it out

A lot of people advocate for it but it's an unnecessary step for my growing.

My last grow I defoliatated a lot of leaves throughout the grow to uncover new bud sites. I didn't notice any stunting and it was my best grow yet. I just chopped down these ladies today using my Mars TS 1000

They look fine right now but when they get bigger you'll want to defoliate for two reasons, to expose bud sites to more light, and if you're growing in a small space to reduce humidity. You want to see the entire plant moving a little when your interior tent fan is on so you want to remove enough leaves to allow for good air circulation. I water every three or four days and like to do it around the same time if I think the plants are too bushy. I only do it when the plants are healthy looking.
