I have a photo plant that I started for the hell of it it’s growing indoors with amended soil and I’m using fox farm trio liquid fertilizer. I just switched to a zero water pitcher for neutral water, but my plant looks as if it is drying out with some spotting…..any answers why?

What's the pH of the water you are giving it and the water/nutrient solution you've been adding? What strength?

PH is much too high you should be going in at 6.3.

Do those pots have drain holes? Solid wall plastic pots don't work well as the media stays wet too long.

You need to measure your nutrient strength in EC because that will give us a measure we can make comparisons on. You also may benefit from feeding a more balanced fertilizer blend by using the other components in the system.

Hey brother do you have a IG account so I can give you a shout out with the help? I have reported my photo plant and have ph up and down on the way.

Hey friend,

I'm not on any social media at all, except this forum. Thanks for the thought!

pH and PPM/EC meters are some essential equipment to successful grows. It doesn't seem like it at first but it can and will make a world of difference. I don't know if this is your first grow or not but, when you're first starting out it seems like there is so much accessory stuff to buy! If you're getting a pH meter, be sure and pick up some calibration fluid so you know its accurate and some storage solution for the glass bulb. (I know more crap to buy right?) Best of luck! Oh, and start a thread so we can follow along.
