just started week 5 of flower. This is train wreck grown in 50/50 coco perlite using autopot xl. Temps 70-78 rh 40-50. Feeding is 610 ppm using ro water and GH FLORA series with cal/mag. So is this a P deficiency or could it potentially be genetics? The second picture is how it starts then progressively gets worse. Pretty much every leaf in the garden has it showing on its tips and lower leaves are yellowing up quite fast. Flowers seem to be fine though still growing daily

Hmm interesting. I hope it’s not a lockout but I don’t think it is. I feel as though I’ve been underfeeding these plants their entire life compared to other autopot growers that have never had that issue. I check ph daily and adjust accordingly. I worry about flushing this late in the game as supposedly it’s a big no no in Autopots ‍♂️

Where did you hear you shouldn't flush in autopots?

always learning...

I wish I could give you the exact sources but I recall reading several threads and maybe even something from autopot themselves saying never to top water as it will just rinse excess salts further down into the root ball. I believe I googled how to flush an autopot or something to that effect. If you have first hand experience to the contrary please do tell. I would love to flush my ladies and start fresh just worried it will do more harm than good. Might be difficult to seeing as how they are in a scrim net. But I got a trusty wet dry vac. Major pita though

I’m wondering if I just back off 100 ppm on my nutes and add something like sledge hammer to the res if that will help break some of the salts down

I'm hydro, not coco.
People tell me coco is like hydro, but my advice might not apply.
Those dark leaf tips are usually due to over-feeding. I never go above 450 ppm, and the biggest problem is too much growth.
No deficiencies should happen if the plants have correct light, food, and pH.
If any one of these things goes wrong, the potential lockouts can create deficiencies.

I'd cut back on food and double check pH before chasing deficiencies that shouldn't happen with any good fertilizer, except possibly CalMag.

Wow 450 seems really low. Thanks for the advice. Out of curiosity is that 450 on autos or photos? I think I’m going to cut down my nutes tomorrow see what happens Over the course of a few days and then reevaluate

... looks like some normal color expression, in part at least... What strain? the pattern of the coloring looks like normal expression to me ... That said, yellowing could be some P defc too, and indeed, some of the color can be brought on by this,.... How much ppm is the Ca-Mg, the base? Could be you need to up the bloom, and/or use some PK booster (KoolBloom 0-10-10).....
