Hey guys I am torn between defoliating my autos or not. Most articles are from years ago and I cant seem to find any suggesting it from now. Pics of my plants attached below

I am on my first grow, and I'm not going to defoliate. During my research and being told by another grower that the leaves contain sugars and such which the plant uses during its bloom phase for energy. And if i get a mobile nutrient deficiency the plant has the nutes available from the lower leaves to cannibalize. Just my opinion. Here's a shot of my bushes lol

And it might be the best option. But sometimes, if the leaves are blocking the light from the buds or to control RH issues, a selective defoliation can be very helpful.

Well I did a heavy defoliation session. They are autos. They don't have enough time for me to dedoliate one or two per session every few days i hope i didnt mes s up

shoulda started the whole affair a wee earlier in time, lol :rolleyes2: they'll be ok tho...like u say, they're autoz :shooty: u got picz :confused1: ppp

Prior to day 35, I focus on only removing inward facing secondary fan leaves that might be covering lower bud sites. By doing so, I can spread out the defoliation to a few every day or every other day without putting too much stress on the plant(s). After day 35, I'll only remove anything that's inward facing that can't easily be tucked.

This is the end result
