its been a while since I have done a grow journal.
I had to install I new copy of windows on my computer and lost all my data on my seeds that I had and have used over the past 6 or 7 years since I started growing and the grow logs of all my past grows. so it got me a bit depressed and don't even get be started on all the covid related crap. I was still growing during my last few grows but lost the drive to do anything else.
anyway its a new year and I wanted to start doing grow journals again. for this grow I will be growing some photo seeds that I made myself a while back.
the strain is Humboldt seeds organization fast flowering ogkz crossed with a clone of fast flowering ogkz that was reversed with colloidal silver hence the name "double ogkz" it was my first seeds breeding project and it worked. my second seed project attempt was a failure but I have a ton of seeds from my first project.
the seeds are from two different plants of the same strain that were both pollinated from the same pollen. so I used two seeds from each to see if there are any different characteristics between them but that should be just about Identical.
I cleaned out my tent and just start germinating four seeds today I used some root riot cubes to start the seeds and put them in a cloning tray and dome.
I forgot where I learned a trick about taking a small piece from the corner of the grow cube and gently put it in the hole after you put the seed in the cube to keep the seed moist until it sprouts. you can see a example of what I am talking about in the third picture. I sprayed the cubes with some plain water and gave them a squeeze so they wont be to moist and misted the inside of the dome.
I will let you know in the next week if they sprout or now.
