Hello everyone. It's getting close to harvest time! My swiss cheese auto is 6.5 weeks into flowering. I've been growing her in ffof in a 3 gallon pot and feeding big bud, bud candy, rhino skin, and calmag+ in rainwater up until about a week and a half ago. That's when I started flushing with about 5 gallons of rainwater. I've done that three times already and trying to decide whether to do a final flush or not.

The trichromes are mostly cloudy with very little clears and about three times the amber vs clear. There are still a good amount of long white calyxes leftover but most have turned orange.

I've also notice there isn't much of a smell now compared to two weeks ago.

So tomorrow, I can give her a final flush and harvest by next weekend or kill the lights for a day to prepare for cutting. What do you think? Sorry but I don't have a camera on me so no pics.

Good plan. Odor/aroma is an indicator of the start of ripening.

Some plants show thrichs as ready when stigmas are still white. Rare. But--I just harvested one just like you described.

Sounds as if all media nutes have been flushed out. I would just feed water with a flush solution if you have one--no big deal. Then harvest when pots are near 80 to 100% dry but not wilting.

Cheers

Harvested last night! It was day 75 anyway. So lack of aroma is good?

Some plants smell more than others.
At least thats what ive learned
I wouldnt worry about it , curing will bring it out.

that seems to happen to a lot of my plants.very stinky n sticky then round week 7/8 they seem to loose there great smell.........thought maybe my high grow temps. I can understand some phenos have no smell but how come some smell fantastic then a few days later nothing.....

well its not high temps because my temps never go over 78.
dont know why, seen it myself, but when you rub against it,sure smells good though.
maybe something to do with the hairs all drying up ?
