I received a variety of fine genetics as a gift to help my mom with her affliction from a really great fellow, he's a reputable seed dealer, and I just learned that he has access to both Lowryder#2 fem seed & Lowryder#1 regular seed. I was hoping that any members that have used both of these strains for breeding could chime in and share their opinions based on their experiences with them. Which one is superior for breeding with? What are the major differences that set them apart?

Like most everyone that wants to pursue their own personal automatic adventure, I
wish to keep the finer traits of a photo strain, and the most desirable day-neutral trait from the Lowryder. Thus far, I've found only one breeder that shares a great deal of his techniques, but his experience is strictly limited to indoor photo dependent/short-day strains. Fortunately, I have someone willing to help me, albeit in another country, and he also wants to learn and gain some experience. Any helpful insight will be most appreciated. :tiphat:

it's really up to you but why reinvent the wheel? it took years to breed the original lr to be a more potent lr2 so I'd start from there. I've heard however when using feminized seed there is some controversial evidence that it may lead to problems down the road with the genetics and possible introduction of hermies. good luck though with your venture! any ideas which photos you'll be using? there are so many working on all sorts of crosses you might want to check if it's been done already to perfection by another breeder. when lr2 first came out i started on an auto jack herer but never had a chance to take it beyond the 3rd backcross. now years later i look around there are already 3 or more stabilized variants out there most likely better than i could have achieved in my little grow cab i had.

I'd never start any longterm breeding projects with fem seeds. If you use a selfed strain for example, you loose 50% of the traits of the strain, that the male would usually pass on right from the beginning. And males often got the goodz . Choosing the right
father is equally important as choosing the right mother, but much much harder to spot.

But I don't dig the whole reinventing the wheel thing. If you were really serious about this, you could take your LR#1 and almost any photostrain you want, if you do 4 grows a year, you could archieve a semi-auto/early strain within the first year, and reach the final full auto IBL within the end of the second. You must stay within the 90 day range though..Seed to Seed, otherwise you'll sitting on it for a while longer.

If quick, high amounts of seeds are the target, I'd just start from Mossys Jems or something similar, and do a simple hybrid with something also highly inbred. Just 1 growth period needed for this.

I was gifted some Karma Dragons and GHaze x Durty Dragons. Now that all my photo strains are finally finished, I will be dedicating the remainder of the year to growing out the auto strains. I just started to dry a lot of different photo strains, but a couple started outdoors finished early, and they've been curing for a few weeks. Mom doesn't wanna smoke joints, so I'm looking for her a good pipe tonight. She likes how the C99 smells, it has a touch of pineapple, the skywalker's scent seems to potent. She'll have at least 8 or more very potent photo strains to choose from, plus the autos from Mossy this winter. I don't sell, or deal, but I do gift to friends, so she's gonna have enough from this year to las a long, long time.

Maybe you're right, I should stick to what I know; the time & effort involved really wouldn't worth it, unless I was living on a full section of land, then I would have the space to play around with a lot of genetics.

Who ever the Indian Giver was that took my Karma logo, it didn't work; mom's physical & mental health are both improving, & both of us are riding a streak of really good fortune/karma. I will assume that the Indian Giver was offended, is childish, & needs it much more than we do. Whom ever it was, if I offended you, I apologize; I only wish you would've come to me so that we could've reasoned together as wise men do. :tiphat: Peace with the booty grease!

I'd rip off the face of the statue of liberty, and put on yours instead, if you'd take a Mosca Negra/Mosca Seeds C99, turn it into an autoflower and pass the seeds around if you are done! :High 5::bow::grat::grat::bow:

I was recently gifted some C-99 from an awesome breeder, there's two phenos in his strain, but they're photosensitive, & I already have a fine bonsai mother if I need to run it again. Highrise seeds has Auto C-99 that's about finished & ready for testing; there's a thread on their seed forum. How is Mosca Negra's C-99 different from the Bros Grimm? Moca negra is Black Fly in spanish.

The reply said, Lowryder#1 are available in regular 10 packs, so they're not extinct yet.

Congrats :High 5:. You probably want to keep that one some years :).
Moscas C99 is the closest thing to the Bros Grimm original available as regular seeds.
Lowryder probably won't leave us for many many years. Literally hundreds of people made their own seeds, and there are about almost 10 breeders I know about who sell knockoffs.

I decided on Lowryder #2 to cross with a couple of autos for the dwarf trait. I'm curious if there's an auto strain that grows like a baseball bat/hashplant, no branching, like one big cola. There's a plant that grows locally that strongly resembles those strains, it's called Horseweed. A cannabis plant would blend in great next to these, & there's a lot of them!

I apologize for my temper, & getting angry over nothing. If I offended anyone, I apologize, please forgive me, I was under the impression someone was intentionally trying to hurt me.

I'm selling c99 brosgrimm F4 there is only one real c99, and its BG.
