Its only my second grow so I don't have much knowledge, and I've never grown this strain before either. I planted 2 seeds that both seemed to be very different in the way they grew. The one in the picture seemed to be okay, its a decent sized plant, at the limit of my 4x4 grow tent @ 24 inches from light, with light at maximum height in the tent. But the other one grew really tall and stringy. They both went into pre-flower at the same time, but one plant kept going vertical, with massive space between each node, it just seemed a bit spaz from the get go, so I pulled it. Bummer seeds aint cheap ...
This plant has been easy. Feeding @ 800ppm with a pH @ 6.3 feeding 4 liters a day. Cyco A & B nutes with some guano from time to time. Coco/perlite mix 60/40 ratio. Light is a 4x 50W COBS = 200W for veg, and 200W of 5W diodes extra in bloom mode. 400W all up. Hand feeding when lights come on, all 4 liters at once and that's the last the plant sees of me until the next day.
I don't have much experience but compared to my last grow (DinaFem Amnesia CBD & White Widow CBD) this Critical+ doesn't have a strong aroma compared to the others. But, touch the plants buds and smell your finger OMG its strong and delicious. It has a fruity orange aroma. It supposed to have a skunk smell, and I don't know how skunk is supposed to smell, but when you open the tent there is this faint smell that is a bit like foot odor? or something. But the fruity orange smell is awesome. I haven't tried any yet, I was planning on a more thorough critique once it was finished, cured and tried. All in all really easy plant to grow. I stuck with the basics that I learned from the last grow, keeping the ppms and pHs to what I was familiar with. It hasn't produced the amount of buds the last ones did, they were huge yields (well to a noob like me) this plants hasn't produced a lot. Having said that, DinaFem website recommends to grow this particular strain in a SOG (sea of green) set up, but I wouldn't know how to do that lol.
So far I'm really happy with this plant. Its not a lot, but it was really easy to grow, and didn't give me any headaches. Just that odd seed that wanting to grow to the ceiling? I got 3 seeds left, so I'll give it another bash sometime in the future. Maybe by then I'll have more experience and try those 3 seeds in a SOG set up like they suggest for better results? Can't wait to try it. That orange aroma is something else. I hope it tastes just as good
