Creating Feminized Seeds w/o additives

This is my first time attempting to create female seeds without GA or CS and I wanted to check to see if I'm doing this correctly or atleast in a way that may work.

I harvested a plant a few weeks ago, instead of cutting the main stem at the base of the plant I harvested each individual branch except the very lower branches. I placed the harvested plant inside of a bush where it didn't get the right amount of light.

When I visited the plant this week I found bananas near the buds on the bottom branches.
So I took a ripe pollen banana and rubbed it between my fingers and placed the pollen on a female that's a few weeks into bloom.

Is this right?

Yes that will give you femmed seed. BUT......
It should also be said that many growers believe (including me) that a forced hermie does not yield as stable a seed as a chemically reversed female... With a stress hermie you never know if it was already prone to stress or if it was mostly the interference of you and light cycles. If it hermied as easy as you say just by putting it in a bush, it may indeed have some hermie traits passed down to its seed.

When I and many other make fem seed we stress our plant to find out if a pheno will produce hermi flowers....

THESE plants are excluded from any seed making as the are hermi prone, and that trait needs to be stayed as far away from as possible.

So in a way...all you did was identify a hermi and breed it.

When you breed a hermi you get female, male, and hermi seed.

Well, this plant has been really sick since just about day one. I grew three seeds I got from a close friend/grow buddy, he smoked me out with some of the bud with me. He said it was a indoor seed I grew all of them outdoor and the other two did great, but I couldn't get this one to get well. I think now that it may have had something to due with not getting enough magnesium. I always skipped that plant when adding magnesium.

Anyways thanks alot for all the comments and advise

I think I will add more DRIED pollen to the mother with a Q-tip next week
