Alright guys n gals,

I have a couple of noob questions as the title suggests, long time smoker first time grower.

tent 50x50 black orchid
Auto haze
Soil biobizz allmix bio grow

Drainage for the tent would a saucer setup do for under the pots or any different solutions you guys find works best? Or none at all.

Biobizz allmix anyone used it? If so how often should i water? By the looks of the chart once a week? Or do these charts not apply to this kind of growing?

I had a tone more questions but when its came to writting this my minds went blank.

Cheers

hi :pass:
best not to have water running round the floor of tent.a round sauce for each pot or a tray that fits the tent.i use biobizz light mix,all mix has enough nutes for first 4 weeks i think.
that schedule is even more confusing than the last from biobizz.as the plant grows watering get more often and bigger quantities, its more a feel thing hard to explain.
this is what i did last time, but would never advise anyone to copy an eejit.

Do you guys soak your soil first to get rid of hard spots?

I only did that with the batmix soil as it can burn

Once you get going you will understand what the eejit means by watering by feel. Don't over water. I find that if I soak a 3gal pot full of soil it stays good for 2 -4 days depending on the size of the plant. You will find that the pot will dry out faster as the plant gets bigger. No question is a stupid question man. Tag me in your grow I would love to help with all of your questions

Dont soak it i did that 1 time and the bottom of the pot almost never dried out completely, am on my third grow now and got my own ways from now on, those ways are to put your bottom soil in and soak the centre part then put top soil and have it not wet but not dry, when the seed germinates the taproot will head for the bottom soil centre where you wet and the top soil the figrous roots al get into that but j think wetting the centre bottom is to give your taproot a target, i just learnt that the plants have 2 types of roots or a combined
If you were to soak the soak throughly it drowns the soil taking all the oxygen and you get root rot and soil like muck, when watering do it slowly taking break so the water gets the opportunity to pull oxygen into the soil
