Well I started these about 28 days ago and I think they are going well. I'm am using some happy frog soil and a KIND Led 300W light. I built a box about 3x3x4 ft high. Some fox farm big bloom started on the 4th week at 1/2 strength.

Looking goos so far man keep us updated. Nice color

Well since I work away from home for half the year 2 weeks at a time it will be tough to keep up on this. I guess you can say this is my wife's grow for the most part. I have just been doing all the study work and building and she maintains while I am gone so this had been a really fun experience for the both of us!! Anyway she sent me a couple pics of the ladies so thought I would post and see what you all thought?

Hello all, so I have read a lot on here about not trimming or pruning you plants and just let them do there thing but it seemed like my plants were asking to have a couple of there fan leaves clipped so my wife went ahead and did it so we will see how it goes. What do you all think?

The main thing folks do here is low stress training (LST). Basically bending the main stem so the side branches put out colas.
Your plants look good. The plant on the left seems it is pushing those side branches out nicely. The plant on the right seems to be making just one big cola/flower.
A nice little article on LST.

Hi Snow, plants are looking good. Clipping a leaf or 2 now and then should not be an issue but as armanidog said LST is the route most growers take. Nice to have someone to back you up with your grow. Happy growing.

Thanks guys, I got two more that have popped about 10 days ago so I will try that with them. When do you think I should start LST.

Once they start branching out. The goal is to create a nice open structure so that light can get into the center of the plant. You can also tie down the main cola to encourage the other branches to develop more. Good luck

Wow, my wife has sent some more pics of the girls. She trimmed a couple fan leaves the other day and since then they really stretched out. I don't know if it has anything to do with the trimming or not but it all looks good to me. If I had to guess this is there final stretch before they start putting all there energy into flowering. They are 37 days in this pick. I hope they don't get much taller cause I'm running out of height in our space.
