Hey Guys

First time poster. Just found this website today...FANTASTIC. I thought there was hardly any info out there on AF but i sure was proven wrong.

Ill be growing Easy Ryder & Pakistan ryder in a pc grow box *stealth ftw = No Fuzz hopefully* with a 125w *6400k* Guerilight & a 250w *2700k* Guerilight, 120mm outake 90mm intake. Im also doing a little led project with x2 prototype boards, each holding x100 red (1 LED = 8000mcd) and x25 Blue (1 LED = 9000mcd). I pulled out my calculator and each one is roughly 36w (72w in total) I know there is alot of HOO HAA about led and the actual wattage but sure its worth a try, The led's are there mainly for flowering. So im just stuck on 4 little things and i would really appreciate it if you guys can help

(1) What nutrients would you guys recommend? i was looking at advanced nutrients bloom A+B. I seen a few people saying not to bother with VEG nutes but would love an opinion (im using atami organic soil)

(2) I know you guys see this question alot...but was wondering about the nutes schedule. Again i seen people saying *no nutes for the first 2 weeks then bring it up from 1/4 to full doses* again would love an opinion for best results

(3)L.S.T = EVERYONE is saying dont do it, stresses them out...i really cant see how this stresses them...anyone shed some light?

(4) Think i could squeeze a purple jems in there? Dimensions are (L)400mm (W)200mm (H) 450mm. i know its small but if i can L.S.T maybe?

So guys would appreciate some comments Negative or Positive

I give 1/4 strenght grow nutes on day 10.When all the plants show sex day 14-21 I give 1/2 strength grow nutes.At day 30
I go to bloom nutes until 10 days prior to harvest.

do you give the full dose for flowering? and would you ever use bloom boosters or anything like that, or just your regular veg+bloom?

I've got a paki ryder going right now....it's bout 25" OUT of pot...in a 4" pot........under 400w hps...I lst a lot , especially taller ones, with no probs...usually feed mine with every watering.....BTW....welcome to a very friend auto lovers gathering spot...light up....

what i mean is that not all autos are the same lol
I have been growing the same genetic line for over a year now
and they all seem like they really like my fert schedule.
This is what i doi break it down as follows
First off let me talk about what i use as ferts. I have a 4 part system that i use and most of this is in the brain so please bare with me as i share this one.
I use grow big (hydro formula) Tiger Bloom and then two tea variations. One is high in N for veg and the other is high in Phosphorus when its time to flower.
I apply these through out the grow. I use the to get it started.
then i move to the teas and then back to the and then back to the teas
So i break it down like this:
GB is 3Tbsp/1Gal for heavy feedings. So in my mind this is more than enough for our fave friends. So it states that 2tbsp/1gal is for normal feedings so i use this as my base number. After that i break it down into 1/4
at 7 days i start like this
Day 7 1/4 dose to a gal
Day 14 1/2 dose to a gal + 8oz of N rated tea
Day 21 1tbsp GB and then 1/4 of TB (bringing in the TB)
Day 28 1/2 TB + 8oz of Phosphorus rated tea
Day 35 1.5 tbsp TB to a gal
Day 41 2tbsp of TB and 8oz of Phosphorus rated tea
Then Flush till finish unless it needs something at the end.
I think that this is everything that i do like i said i am not sure as this is all in my head. If the plants demand more that i give more this is just something to go by. I usually do not swap in clean water feedings at all over the fert program. I just use the jug then its gone. Now if i start to see over feeding or lockouts ill flush.
But if i keep my water on point i never usually see a lock out or toxicity.

5 LST does NOT stress plants... thus the "Low Stress training" lol

6 Jems are a pretty dwarf plant.... i think yo prob can.... heres a tip : pot size dictates max size of the plant ... so use a container that limits the plant to the size range you're after... remember... you're in charge and treat em right and like any other lady theyll reward you.

Are them Paki ryders a bulky girl? i only have about half that room how many gallons is your pot? thanks man ive been spending the last 3days reading nearly every post and everyone one seem so friendly

Thanks for all the info JM. What are the optimal pH for the soil & water? i was reading FullDuplex's method of placing a pump in the water res...is this just basically an air-stone in the RES container? what size pots would you reccomend...i have little 1Litre buckets would you say the is enough for my grow dimensions? sorry for all the question man, just really looking forward Had quite the laugh at your L.S.T pun
