New Grower Colt 45 2nd Grow: sweet Seeds Dark Devil in Space Bucket

As my first grow winds down, I have started my 2nd grow. Currently only in Day 3. Growing in a 1 gallon air pot, wrapped in panty hose to continue the soil. Soil mix is Fox Farm Happy Frog mixed 3:1 with perlite. First seed didn’t germinate, but 2nd seed cracked after 24 hours. It was placed in an expanded peat moss pellet and placed directly into the pot with a small plastic cup over top of it until breaking through the surface.

Running on a 18-6 light schedule, under 4 store-bought LED bulbs with the covers torn off. Total actual wattage is around 40 watts. So far so good. Please follow along and give any suggestions you may have. Thanks for looking!

Update: Day 8

So far everything seems to be alright. This Dark Devil is doing well so far. I was a little concerned, from other people’s’ posts I’ve read, that the HF would be too hot for a seedling. Seems to be doing well so far!
