Colloidal Silver + Regular Seeds = Male Pollen

If I were to spray REGULAR seeds with Colloidal Silver, would I be guaranteed males NOT hermaphrodites?

Does anyone have experience with this?

There are many threads here with CS information.

To answer your question, if you spray a female with CS and it produces VIABLE pollen all of the seed will be female..... UNLESS your chosen female is a hermaphrodite... then you will get females, males, and herms.

If you plan on experimentation with CS, I would suggest that you pick a strain which is well known and has no reports of hermaphrodites.

You spray female plants to make them produce male flowers which you use to pollenate your target plant. Understand?

If you're using regular seeds (Male/Female) there's a 50/50 % of it being male or female.

they would all grow male pollen sacs and the males would grow female buds so your basically just making regular seeds the hard way

The short answer to the OP's question is "Yes"; however, it would be wise to wait to sex the plants and spray just the females (they should sex first) if you want to make Fem'd seeds.

The ultimate question is what the hell are you actually planning on doing? CS is primarily used to make fem seeds. When you grow out reg seeds and have a male - the pollen is about 50/50 (M/F). The CS will not help you here, so it would be wise to separate the female plants and spray just them to produce 'female only' pollen.....if that is what you want.

I have a feeling you just dopn't fully understand how it all works or you are doing something very strange and unusual. I would search for CS and do some reading.

Stop and think.... How will you know if your plant is a Male or a female>male?

Plus why cant you just do it the right way?
