I was told and sold coco my first trip to the hydro store when I bought tent lights nutes etc and im cool with it and the nute responsibilities it comes with, 20 days the 2 experiment girls look great. That being said, next I want to do a parallel grow, one plant with my coco and one in a nute enriched soil setup that I’d water only and can’t fuck up (at least for the first 30 days or so) so I can kinda compare the growth. Any recommendations for soil and/or slow release nutes you mix in so you can water only for a good while? I’m not lazy but I do believe in working smart not hard lol. Thanks much in advance, Joe

That's about the worst advice i've seen in a while.

If you're able to get biobizz light mix, that will see you through seedling stage to about day 20.

You don't want to get a heavily pre nuted soil, slow release type as you'll never know what the plant is getting. (even Biobizz Allmix can be too hot for seedlings)

Another light mix soil is plagron light mix.

You could also look at adding biotabs to a light mix to further allow a "water only" type grow - they're organic tabs that break down over time.

Thanks blue, ive heard good things about the biotabs. I feel that the plants would benefit if I have minimal responsibility to get them fed correctly, but I’m sure most of us new guys feel that way lol. And yeah even this rookie knows better than to use miraclegrow

From what I’ve seen in these forums, everybody loves Biobizz, Joe. I’ve got enough FFOF for another 3 plant 5 gallon pot grow after my first grow is through, so ima use all that before I experiment. I think Biobizz is the direction I’m probably going. Will probably experiment with other nutes as well. I’ll keep you posted on my first grow though! Best of luck mane

I’m thinking we will be Biobizz Buddies eventually. I’m going to follow a friends recipe with happy frog and ocean forest next and order some Biobizz for the third grow. Hopefully by thanksgiving I’ll find what works for me haha!
