Just wondering if anyone knows anything on Co2...at the minute i'm going cheap and using water + sugar + yeast but id like the Real Deal ?....Thanks :)

The cheap way is to use an empty plastic 2 liter bottle, Fill 1/8 of the bottle with sugar, fill 1/3 of the bottle with Luke warm water and shake to dissolve the sugar, After this pierce the cap with a pin...Now one non-heaped table spoon of yeast close lid and shake, Then just leave in your grow room under a fan....Don't Over Do It With Yeast You Have Been Warned...I did this mistake myself by putting too much yeast and each bottle sprayed yeast on the sides of my tents smelt like a brewery...I'd let the 1st reaction occur outside of the tent to be safe..after this put in your grow tent and re-shake everyday to slow release Co2...

as far as Co2 goes, ive just left sparkling spring water bottles open in the tent. helps to have them higher than the soil level as Co2 is heavier than air.
ive also drip fed sparkling spring water into pots with gravity bags and it smokes as it hits the soil surface, it smokes even more when you dump loads in the pot itself.
weird but the plants love it.

@LED Borg That sounds cool as hell my Friend i'm going to search Gravity bags now :)

The DIY method is good and will def release Co2 there are things that you should now about it though. 1st you need to make sure your vent fans are OFF for a certain period of time each day or hour or whatever to let the co2 levels rise. This should also increase your temps, Co2 is available to plants at higher temps. So depending on how much Co2 is being produced you want levels to reach about 1200ppms in your room and let that "soak" in to your plants. I am guessin you don't have a co2 meter or the means to purchase one by chance do you?

Hi @derek420colorado cheers for the advice my fans are on constant so i will adjust them but is my cheap setup good enough to produce some where near 1200ppm in tent ? Thanks.

I honestly don't know how much co2 it will produce, and by fan I meant your exhaust fan. If you have an exhaust fan on it will just suck the co2 out

@derek420colorado Yes both my intake and exhaust fans are on constantly lol i'm making do with the yeast setup but if i'm honest im really wanted real co2 bottle kit...do you know of any cheap kits.. ?

If your exhaust fans are on all the time then you are doing 0 good with the yeast, the cO2 is just getting sucked out of the room. It depends on what you consider cheap? I think the last time I looked you could get a bottle and regulator for a couple hundred US but that was a while ago, hell they could be cheaper now. Either way you will need to get a fan speed controller to shut your fans off while your CO2 is running, so that the gas can build up in the room and the plants can "breathe" it in
