New Grower Cleaning questions

With my approaching germination day I've turned my attention to preparing my ladies future homes.

This brings me to my first question of the future million or so I'm sure that I will ask!

This is my acquired 5 gallon detergent bucket that I'm gonna be using for my pots.

My question is, What cleaning precautions should I take in prepping these for potting to help avoid problems down the road?

That's a good question ! There's a small problem though friend, I can't see your pictures but I think you were more than clear. If you are going to grow out of a 5 gallon container that housed detergent previously, I would fill it with hot water a few times and let the water return to room temp before repeating. If I misunderstand and you just want to clean some pots in general, I use peroxide and water and it works wonderfully. Dawn and bleach are fine as well, but I use peroxide because it's so safe. I grow in DWC and dump a mill or 2 straight into my res sometimes.... Hope that helps !

If you on a laptop or pc, use the "upload a file" option at the bottom instead of using the "insert" tool on the top toolbar. Happy growing old timer, looking forward to your journal !
