Mephisto Genetics Chemdogging coming down!

This big ol girl got the chop the other night. She was a VERY easy plant to grow. Topping and a little lst turned her into a straight up bush. Her growth was fast and furious and took feedings like a champ, producing big soda can sized colas on almost every branch. At 3 weeks old her roots were pouring out the bottom of a 5 gallon smart pot and I knew she was going to be a big lady.
The smell I get is a chemy/tire rubber smell mixed with fresh stained cedar and it’s pretty strong. It smells good, not exactly my favorite smelling kind of bud, but we’ll see after the cure.
I fed general hydro micro, bloom, and liquid kool bloom in OF soil under a mars 300 led light.
I’ve heard chemdogging is a really potent mofo and I can’t wait to see if it lives up to its reputation!

What about the smell don't you like? I will say that the last batch of chemdogging I grew all smelled way different than I would have expected (not like the Chem D, or Chem 91 SK VA cut) they all seemed sweet and earthy with a bit of floral and peppery notes, not super skunk/chem funk.

Im a big fan of the Chemdoggin ive got a couple of real nice crosses from her. Great work on the grow. That stuff is super strong flower!

It’s not that I don’t like the smell, it smells dank! I just personally like how a few plants I recently harvested and have growing smell a little better. For example I harvested a Cinderella Jack and I absolutely love the lemon funk smell and the taste is amazing. I also have a white chem finishing up that smells like a new tire shop mixed with straight fuel. Every time I touch that plant I’m constantly catching myself smelling my fingers for like an hour lol. I’m not dogging the chemdogging in anyway it smells good, just personal preference is all.

If I remember correctly I think I only ran a single 18 pack of the Chemdogging to sort through and see what we thought of her in comparison to the CDLC (Also ran about 50 Creme Bubbly, and another 18 White Chem. The chemdogging was fantastic, but I personally preferred a couple of the others in the selection, so we stuck with those instead.

That was our first run. Was a total trip!
