i need to try get another led to match this, ms006 power and preformance, i wish i cud get 1 of them i know them lol so any suggestions welcomed

overall I think gn has the best panel, but they are expensive. I use lighthouse blackstars I have four of them, three are five year's old @ 20/4 seven day's a week, I also have one vipar panel, it is also growing some fine cannabis. for your budget I would be looking at the mar's11 as having the best bang for the buck. I will stay with what I have. until one quit's, then if I have the money, I would buy a blackstar chrome, if not enough fund's I would go for the mar'sII
:cheers::2cents::goodluck:

i have also been looking for another new led, i would really love to be able to splash the cash on a new HS1 from grow northern but my funding won't allow it either :nono: i really wish we could still buy the modular series! have been swaying between getting either a vipar led or a mars hydro panel

Hey drgreen, I used a Mars II 700 for over a year with great results. I have some journals showing how they performed. A bit of caution though, the 700 model in particular may not be the best pick. It has 140 diodes and only two fans. Go up to the 900, and it has four fans. Diodes in my panel started to burn out over time. Emailed MarsHydro when only 2 diodes went out and they sent me 10 fresh diodes to solder in myself. I've yet to do the repair, as I've since upgraded to a ceramic light. But I intend to try repairing the 700 and upgrading the fans to use in future projects because it's still a great light. At any rate, that's been my experience with the Mars II. Good luck in your search.

Vipar Led's are very good man! I'm currently using their 300 Watt LED Panel and it kicks ass! Check out my AKR grow which just finished up under Vipar Led
