hi guys

looking for a cheap and easy way of giving your plants lots of Co2 maybe in the cupboard with them, because if i leave the window open too long the room may get a tad damp and i really dont want that happeneing

thanks in advance

yeast, water, sugar, 20 oz-2 liter bottle. mix up, cut a hole add a hose, most people use aquarium pump hoses. mix together let the yeast eat up the sugar and do their thing. siphon off the gas through the hose to your plants. cheap as hell and most utterly effective. enjoy and watch those babies flourish :) :booya:

Ok cheap way is the yeast water and sugar but let me get a bit more specific.

best way to do this and get about a 2 week constant supply of o2 is to do the following
I make homemade wines and brandy, so i do a lot of fermenting.

Go get you a gallon of drinking water from wal-mart a small bag of sugar and a couple packs of yeast
NOW boil that gallon of water and once it boils mix in the sugar until its all desolved
let the water reach room temp, that is important as if its hot you will ruin the yeast.

Now add the yeast to the water two to three packs should do it.
now cut you a hole in the lid of the jug cap it.
after a bout an hour or so you will see the reaction

it usually takes about 2 weeks for my wine to stop bubbling
so you should have a supply there but nothing like a bottle and reg will give you
you can add an air line if you want to direct the release
other wise it needs to be in a sealed room to give best affect

brilliant guys now i need to find out where to get some yeast in this dump of a place :P
