First grow ever!
Growing a Northern Lights,a white Shark and auto critical ina 4x2 with 2x300 watts Vectra with Canna brand coco and GH trio.
Not sure if i should vary the PH every day or sticking to the same 6.0 always?
Plants are 11 days out of the coco.75f and 50-54 RH.
Also,i did mix a full gallon of water for 3 solo cups plants. This morning i rechecked the PH of this 3 days old mix and my PH was up to 6.4
Is it normal? Can i reajust a second time?
In a rush for a PT treatment but will post pics of the girls when i come back...because everyone love babies pics!

NL for the win! :yay: ppp

Hello dude, I mix fresh nutes for every water, personally I wouldn't use 3 day old nutes, but thats just me dude...some may differ....and I found this chart earlier for another member and I think it might help you as well....but I let my Ph wander in small bits between around 5.75 to 5.95/6.0....hope this helps

Edit:....Hydroponic on the left is same as coco:thumbsup:

Hello! Yes, it is normal for ph to fluctuate. It does the same thing in your medium. Thats why in coco and hydro, they say to ph to 5.5 or so.. That allows room for fluctuations. Most soils have a ph buffer of some kind that will help keep the ph under 7 or so. That's why they suggest the ph for a soil feed to be in the 6.0-6.5 range. The buffers should stop it from raising/falling too much and helps keep it in range. But as stated above, I woulnt use a 3 day old nute mix. If a gallon is too much for the plant size right now, you can always mix the feeds a liter at a time instead of by the gallon. Just divide the ml per gallon by four to get the ml needed per liter.

I have a single plant left on this run and I ph a range of 5.6 - 6.0 and the plant is very healthy.

if it goes slightly higher you can adjust it with ph down but with your aged girls still in solo cups i would mix half that amount of feed as its going to be changing pretty fast the amounts and strength . also at 11 days can you post a few pics as i would be considering placing them in there forever homes if that makes sense as they may end up root bound and thanks for joined afn and its great to meet you :bighug: :headbang:

Almost live pictures!
One of them had brown spots on her first leaves but new leaves were ok. Just notice a spot on a higher leave. Is it a cal defficency or what should i do to correct this? Been watering with water at 6 and 420 ppm...
