Challenge to other breeders

If you offer auto seeds online and claim outdoor results, I am giving you a chance to name your hardyist stock for me to buy. I will then do a side by side grow off against my Catherine stock. Everything will be the same other than the strains. I will germinate all seeds inside, then on day 2, I will DIG them up and transplant outside. After day 30 I will be giving them full strength ferts. I plan to do this in rows 4 inches apart. So they have enough room to get estabished, then must compete with their neighbors for space. I will be doing this anyway in order to judge for myself if my breeding plan is working. It is possable that when I bought the snowryder and many other strains last year it was my fault they died outside, being an auto newby. I was thinking MI5 this time and one of the dragons I read so much about here. Any suggestions? So what is your toughest product? Any predictions?

What happens when one of my very light sensitive strain is faster than an auto? They are breed for outside northern growers and have the mold resistance to be outside anywhere that there is not devastating heat. Many of my early strains will finish 90-110days. Outside is a big place you need to give more location info...Lat? and weather info...

His Lat is pretty close to mine I would say his is around 39

not trying to tell you anything, just a few problems I see with your past grows.- let me say the mi5 is gonna get pretty good size--gonna need more than 4 inches between plants--first I would not dig them up---put in a small cup that they can grow a few roots in them then transplant---not dig up.second use a good soil not dirt--start ferts at 1/4 th strength around week 2<or at least I do>----third start plants under a small cfl and move out daily a few hours in morning and evening until they get aclamated--drastic changes in temps and humidity reeks havoc on them girls---autos are the easiest to grow!!!can take a lot of ferts and can grow on any light cycle--I have grown autos--outside,inside,and even under a barn with great luck just my 2 cents !!!!--one more comment------cres is one of the few!!!!!

4 inches? :jaw: You'll need at leat 20 to give them enough root space to grow withouth restraining/inhibiting one another. If you don't, I can give you the results of the plants on either sides of your patch of soil: the one on the utmost left and the one on the right will grow the biggest. The rest will fall behind due to lack of rootspace, the difference will be about 10 inches and about 20 grams per plant. This way you'll have no other result but the fact that root bound plants grow smaller and are less healthy. It says nothing about the vigour or ability to produce a big yield, unless you use seperate containers (with the same soil, lighting, nutes and water) for each plant. Only chick peas can grow fine planted so close together.

I think it's a good idea, I was kinda curious how some big autos would do outside...and bought them all(the ones I caught my eye on):D Got some Chaze and two big DP autos(TD and AX).

It can be frustrating to see all these amazing indoor grows and imagining how would the same strains do outside. Well, this season is just right to figure it out!

everyone is right. Cres; I am 39 north,Kentucky is listed as a temprate rain forest, they are on a cliffside patch with full sun. I hope someones does better than mine, I will then know where to best spend my seed money. Truly Cres, I forgot about you. I know you are one of the best and I just assumed your stock was great.
Litte t;the rows will be ABAB. That way both strains get an outside row and a restricted row. What is the greatest compitation to a plant? It's own kind. Digging them up and full strength ferts is part of the test, as is fighting for it's space.
Lrejd ; Yeilds will not be optimine, but fair to both. Also I expect the best to smother the others, whichever strain it is. Mine have withstood temps down below 19 degrees in this patch, this year. But temps will not be an issue by then. I was thinking starting on the soltice, plenty warm then.
