Do u think 3 x 45w CFl will be enough for one lowryder or any short height autoflower ? I can keep bulbs through whole grow 1"-2"of the top of the plant. Whole grow box covered with mylar plus i am gonna change bulbs when it starts to flower after 3 weeks of sprouting i am gonna change 1 of 3 to cool light after 5 weeks 2 of 3 will be 2700K and at last weeks of flowering all 3 will be cool light. Does anyone knows what is the heat produced from CFL's ?

ive seen people pull 2 zips off 4 23w bulbs before, so sure thats enough. just might take practice to get your feeding down to the t. you can use 2700k all the way if you wanted, but having some 6400-6500 would be nice if you want extra resins.

I grew two plants with 4 42w CFLs, though I did add some side lighting during flowering. I had pH problems but still got a nice yield (still curing so I don't have a weight yet). The lights can easily raise the temp 10 degrees or more, so you'll want a fan blowing on the area around the top of the plants to keep the air moving. While it might not be impossible to pull an ounce or two per plant, I definitely wouldn't expect to see that at first. There are a lot more factors than just the lights when it comes to getting those kind of yields from autos.
