Indoor Cfl break

So I have a cfl that has this mark and it looks like a crack as i investigate it i can see that it goes outward and not inward so its more like a hump. I would like to know if there was a mercury release from it will the lamp kept on producing light or it would have shut down?

Where the 2 tubes join there is a mark that is at thejoint and an other mark on top of that that looks like a defect.... thank you guys

Thats where they put the gas in the tube then they melt the glass and close the hole,thats what you are looking at.
