Centipedes in my ******

So I noticed a centipede in the soil mix when i was mixing now i have hundreds in my 6 galon pot (i use a cover to keep soil from drying out).

I have been capturing them and adding them to the other pots. They don't seem to leave the pots at all and seem to thrive. When something tries to come and mess with my plants are they they gonna get Starship Troopers on them or am I just a creepy deluded old man?

Better you than me bud! I HATE centipedes, I get more of an Aliens vibe from them tho lol. Here is me before I see 1... then after that S.O.B. gets away hahaha.

When i lift the plastic cover there are hundreds. I can just never take a picture in time they got smart since i started catching them. The biggest one was about an inch since this is northern Europe

Well, they're carnivores so no danger to your plants, as long as you don't mind the "ick" factor you're golden!

:smoking:Try this one out for size! Peruvian Giant Yellow Leg, a legit 12", and will kill and eat anything it can grab hold of - ...like mammals, birds, amphibians/reptile, other 'pedes....
All are venomous, some deadly to humans.... Ancient as rocks too, predates most true insects, just like scorpions.... 430 million years!

House centipedes, the regular centipedes don't bother me anywhere near as much. I kill with extreme swift violence, and then I talk a good bit of shit afterwards lol. Picture Tom Hanks in Castaway when he finally "creates" fire. That's the kinda level of excitement Im talkin' bout hahaha.

I know they are "good" but just creep me out. I used to hate spiders too, but not so much anymore. The enemy of my enemy is my friend grasshopper lol
