Indoor CaptKG Variety Grow in a small space Big light

Hello All,

So this is my fourth run of autos and have had a break from growing due to the bountiful harvest of my last grow. My set up is a 4 foot box by 38" high running a 1000hps in a cool tube with a 272cfm fan filter combo, the cool tube is a must in this small space and it does work with temps in the mid 80's. Will be experimenting with 5 Gal pots for the first time not sure if I can go this big without doing alot of LST to my girls but I'm game I've had fantastic results in the 3.5 Gal pots. Neut will be Whatever I have left that still looks ok, I'm on a tight budget this grow so have to stretch every dollar. I'm already in 60 for a new bulb long story which was going to be my Neut budget. I normally germinate my seeds in a small container with water that I change daily in a warm dark place until seep pops 24hrs to 5 days then straight into final grow container. Never did have much luck with the paper towel method, I germ over 90% with the water method using healthy seeds, I have received some pretty small seeds that normally don't pop and I think its more the seed then the method in this case.

I will probably update this post every week or as different things happen. I have a few fem seeds for back ups if I start to pop males. I have a staggered grow going due to some start up issues and a few seeds never made the first and second round of issues. I hopefully have all the gremlins out of the setup and can settle in for a great grow.

Line up:
2 x SAS 20L pots (fav strain)
1 x Norden Viking Blue 20L pot
1 x Dr.Krippling Bubbayum
3 x Psycofruit x Onyx male cross (wasn't a fem like it should have been if flowered that grow a bit) 3.5 Gal pots.
1 x Russian Rocket Fuel X Onyx male cross 3.5 Gal pot
1 X Pure THC Auto Gal pot 3.5 Gal pot (seed straight to soil no germ test)
1 x Auto Yumbolt 3.5 Gal pot 3.5 Gal pot (seed straight to soil no germ test)

thanks for stopping by yea me too hope for a couple of early finishers for Xmas lol. I'm just glad the SAS are only a week behind in growth they normally finish early for me.

I just got some cool tubes I have 4 of them how are they workin for you this is my hybrid set hps and led just set up two days ago hope to kill it

Hi dwcnoob and Jtsmoker thanks for dropping in and joining me in my grow.
Jtsmoker how big is your room and how many lights are you running. The cool tubes work really good for me and allow me to use a 1000w in this small space. I'm currently running at 84* without it would be 92-95 in the box. I've been thinking on getting a LED but do not have the budget for it until maybe next summer or might build my own cobbs leds. I have a old florescent 4 tube box that I'm thinking would make a good conversion project, still reading up on it all but I'll get there in the New year. Those Kind LED sound very interesting but are expensive how long have you been using them?

A little update lost my timer mid week just one more Gremlin and hoping the last to work out of this grow. Everything has popped except for the Russian x Onyx, looks like I'll have to dig it up tonight and see whats going on. Wouldn't hurt me to thin out a couple of these plants, 10 plants is going to be pretty crowded in my box in another month. I'm looking forward to the 4 new strains I'm growing and my mixed seeds (might get lucky and find a diamond). I think my next grow will be doing some breeding again just need to see what I like from my last couple of grows and this one will decide. I know the SAS will be my pollen producing Tranny or the Psychofruit so far my to favorite strains. My Avatar is the last Psychofruit I grew out and it was an awesome beast weighing in at over 4oz dried the SAS not quite as heavy but quality is great and the wife likes the hazy piney taste. I'll be updating with some pics tonight.

Here's an update of whats going on the 2 SAS are growing as normal, the Viking Blue is almost at the same pace so is the bubbayum. The first pic is Psyc x onyx due to a male onyx on one of my grows is looking kind of bushy the other two of them were started a week later I think my dates are jacked that'll teach me for smokin and gardening at the same time lol the should be the 14th or 15th slow to pop out of the soil after being germinated and not so much vigorous growth. The pure THC and Yumboldt were started straight in the soil no germinating and I've had success I very rarely do this anymore but wanted to give it a try. The growth on my plants are off to my start up issues but should catch up in a week or two I'm hoping.

I have two rooms my photo shop is a 8x8 by 10 tall my auto shop is a 4 by8 tent photo shop has 2500 watts and the auto shop as 1000 watt
