Don't smoke.......First grow = Burple bud Fem and Super Skunk auto
Hi,

I just want to throw this one out to you all, first because I am new to growing my own (I am in week 17 of my first grow and although it was a mess at first due to trying to grow too many plants in a tiny tent all is now OK and flowering/budding nicely) secondly because I have angina with narrowing of the arteries and hence an abnormally fast heartbeat.

My question is fairly simple:- Does all cannabis increase your heart rate i.e. Sativa, Indica, high CBD, high THC etc.?

Use will be mainly for painkilling but I don't mind getting a bit of a high out of it too. I will be making tinctures at first and then rosin extraction when I can sort out a reasonably priced press.

Any help on this will be much appreciated as I've had enough of the crap poisons my quack throws at me thinking it solves the problem......It just don't!

Thanks to all

Respect, as always,

Cmoon

I would say it does, for me it does... of course different strain will give different effects, not all will do that. Sativa's can be on racy side, not all but many... Indica certainly shouldn't cause that, but there are some that have more of sativa effect & can be totally different then you would expect from an indica. I also kinda have same condition as you, really I just try avoid very racy sativa... them make ya feel like heart coming out your chest! hahahaha... a good hybrid will be nice, something you can use all day without being locked to couch...even though I may feel it racing my heart sometimes, it mostly initial couple hits, then normal..

Exactly the same for me.
Consider some simple edibles for longer lasting relief

Thanks for that mate. You're right, I think it is just a case of finding the right mix, the only difference is that I don't smoke anymore.

Cheers

If you spliff, the tobacco will spike your heart rate for obvious reasons.

Cannabis itself, mainly CBD I think, also lowers your blood sugar, which is why we get the munchies, and that will make the ticker tock faster.
