I tried to buy bags on the Grove Bags US site, found Canada missing from the country list (Afganistan OTOH, was there). Sent an email to them to ask what was up, still no response several days later.

Someone here pointed out that there is now a Canadian site. Grove might have pointed that out on their main site, but if they did, I did not run into it.

So, I went to the Canadian site, and went through the selection and ordering process. Got to the final payment step (three times actually), and the paypal credit card process used by Grove would not accept a Canadian postal code, it insisted on a Zip code. After another Canuck here indicated that he had no problem, I went back and tried once again. It turned out that in the final entry of credit card information, you need not only to enter a Canadian address, you also need to change the flag symbol high in the entry screen to a Canadian flag rather than the default USA flag. In my earlier attempts, I did not notice the flag, and the resulting error was not identified in the error message that resulted. I was just told that I needed to enter a zip code. One might ask why, on a dedicated Canadian site, USA is the default option. Or perhaps why any country option other than Canada comes up at all. But I digress.

Anyway, Canucks, watch for the flag and change it if you want to avoid frustration.

Must be something you are doing wrong man.
I just filled in my canadian address and clicked the "debit card or credit card" button and it allowed me to enter card info. Do not click the "pay with paypal" button!! Click the "debit card or credit card" button directly below it and it should work

I don't have a PayPal account and it worked for me

Thanks for the head's up, I appreciate it. I went back and tried again, and figured out what the problem was. I have edited the earlier part of this thread accordingly. :pighug:

Glad you had some luck!!

I have found their website to be difficult to navigate in the past. Then if you have allowed the cookies a mistake you made in a previous visit can haunt you when you come back. Clearing your browser cache can sometimes fix stuff.

Their site is geared more to the commercial customer and rightly so! Stoners are probably a pain in the BUD .

I love Grove Bags. I have no jars in my system now! My weed is cured better than ever in jars. :bighug:

I have been reading your testimonials my friend. They, among others, were the reason for my interest.

Anyway, all sorted now, so this harvest will be cured in Grove Bags if they arrive in time. Given my shipping experiences of late, that remains to be seen.

Ok peeps, with gratitude, an update. I completed the order, got a more or less immediate email that the order had been shipped, and when I checked tracking today, I found that, unlike some other vendors, the shipment is actually on the way rather than simply meaning that Canada Post has received a tracking number. It appears that I will have the bags by end of week which in current circumstances I consider excellent service.

Thanks @Grove Bags, I am sorry that my earlier experience did not go that well, but once I actually entered the order as required, the shipping service has been exceptional.

Happy bagging peeps!

Got my Grove Bags today. The website could use some work, but once the order was sorted, the service has been perfect.

Now all I have to do is wait impatiently until I can try them...
