This is my first grow of hopefully many. My question is can you LST to much? Or to early? Being my first grow I was checking on them twice a day and began training early. I believe because of that there are very short and compact as they begin to flower. My fear is they can’t get enough air flow as they grow. These are Sour Diesel autos they’ve been in flower about a week. Thanks for having me!!

Yes, however your plants are a ways from concern. Just make sure your letting the pots really dry out between watering, your plants look great. Once your flowering its a personal preference but I defoil and make sure the light shines on those buds sites, your all good!!

@cooknbudz :welcome:Welcome to AFN:welcome: Your plants look great! Yes and no, you can LST past the point in time to allow for attractive upright buds. Cannabis will bloom horizontal if needed.:naughtystep:. Your plants are not in bloom yet.

I train my autos throughout the grow, separating nodes around the pot.
I'm also with @Flux on a spotless grow area. It greatly reduces infestations.

When is it considered blooming?
This picture show the female plant displaying pistils confirming that it is a female.

This is that same plant a week later when flowering has begun.

Keep your grow tent sterile and clean.....Dirt spills and water puddles...clean those when u see them.......have lots of air circulation.

You won't experience pests at all. Unless u buy bad soil, lol.
