New Grower Can you let them go to long?

I've tried a few plants now and have always had the same problem (no Amber trichs) I've been told just to give it a bit longer.

What happens to a plant if you leave it too long? as I seem to have given my past babies loads of time over the actual suggested amount and still no amber.

Instead they ended up funny smelling with hardly any High!!!!!!!!!!

Some strains i beleive dont get much amber if any and autos start to end there life when the fans start to go yellow its sucking the left over stored energy from the plant i think as long as all the fans have gone yellow and you dont let the plant start to decay you should be alrite try a differant strain mate Si
