can there be auto traits in F1 seeds from photo x auto cross?

hi all,

as some of you may know i have been working on a new auto-strain for myself.

i had to take some time off due to health but have started again and have germed some F1 seeds that i had from my former grow where i pollinated a lowryder female (joint doctor) with pollen from a Scott's OG male (rare danknes) to create a small autoflower with an OG kick to it.

during research i found out that the autoflower gen is a recessive trait so it wouldn't show up in the F1's.
however i am now growing my F1's and am still in veg mode..

last night i saw some plants allready started to flower and am still on 18/6 so im a bit confused now ... and stoned wich also doesnt help (sorry )

since this is the autoflower network and to me the place to go with auto questions, i was hoping you guys could tell me if it is possible to get auto-traits in the F1 batch or that i should be looking for some kind of failure in my devices??

im 99% positive that these aren't other seeds that might be auto's cause the only pollen used and available at that time, came from a Scott's OG male so dad was definitely a photosensitive plant.

I don't know. I can theorize, but couldn't give you a definitive answer as to why it happens.

Lucky I guess as to why, maybe one of the pollen producers parents was an auto. Just brainstorming

the only males i had at that time were scotts og males and the flower room had one lowryder female from which these seeds were coming thats why i personaly thought mechanical error but my lights go on when they must and off after 18 hours so that cant be it and i havent heared of F1 having autos in them when crossing auto with photo thats why i asked and wanna be sure

thanks for your replies guys ill keep a close eye on them and assume im just lucky ..

i guess best way to tell for sure is the terpines of the stems when they grow bigger or when they are blooming more and start having real buds

I have heard of it happening and as the genetics that cause autos are mutation related it could happen with 2 none auto parent's. I think your just lucky count your blessings as the saying goes.

I had an auto female I pollinated with photo male. All 20 seeds I grew were auto flowering some carried the photos smell and taste. All grew bigger then the auto mother crossed the best male and female over each other but got stolen . so I don't know what the next generation would be auto or photo
