Hi, i have three 4 week old plants that i perform the L.S.T method on. And one of them i have pulled almost every branch a side, and i don´t thing it looks very healthy.
They don´t seem sick or anything, but since i started to tie them down, about two days ago. They don´t seem to grow on the hight anymore. It could be the strain, it is a Lowryder. Or it could be the stress. But before they grew about half a centimeter a day (fifth of an inch). I haven´t tied very hard at all. Just so it holds.

But do you think this is harmful in any way?

When should you start to do L.S.T. on a plant, and when is it too late?

This one is the biggest and tallest one. And i have tied almost every branch i could. Even the top two i pulled a side.

And this one i couldn´t do anything with. But i took the bottom two.

Should i start L.S.T. with these two now you think? Maybe i should wait. These are Easy Ryder plants, so they should grow taller in time. They are only about two weeks old.

I wouldn't it will stunt when you FIM or top a autoflower they are finicky little things your best bet would be to just let them do their thing they will love you for it.

I wouldn't suggest topping them either. It will delay they by about a week while they recover from the stress and in my experience, will not produce a bigger yield in the end. LSTing, if done gradually over a few days, shouldn't really stress them.

If you take a look in the second picture. It has grown two colas, instead of just one, and i thought that was really cool.

That happened after i cut off maybe 60-70 % of the new shoot, about a week ago. I have another plant thats about the same hight, and she has just one cola. And it is just a little bit bigger then the plant in the first, and second picture.
I will post new pictures in my growthread in the "new growers forum" later today so you can compare for yourselves if you are interested.

But i will not do anything to the ER´s yet. I think i will start L.S.T:ing in a couple of days.

Ps. I have figured out that dental floss is the best thing to tie down with (for me at least). And maybe it could give a little bit of mint-taste to the bud later on. :)

Love. /h.
