Can I get a trichome check? How close am I?

I am closing in on my first harvest. This is Mephisto Double Grape x 3 Bears OG at day 64 from sprout. The trichomes are getting cloudier and have been seeing some amber not just on sugar leaves, but also interior of the buds.

What do you think? Am I within a week? I’m looking for middle of the road rather than mega couch lock.

She looks very nice. Great job.

I'm still a rookie but it looks like you are real close if you aren't looking for couch lock. Hairs are brown and leafs turning yellow is a good sign she's done. But each strain differs. From what the books say, she looks to be at maximum THC level now.

If you can, hang on for a few more days if not she can be chopped and you will have a great smoke. But check every day. I usually chop at 100% cloudy, the moment I see an amber trichome I chop. Here's a classic chart top help out with trichs

Thanks all! I am super stoked to be in the final stretch. I’m going to do a daily check but am tentatively hoping to so some chopping this coming weekend.

Dunno if under LED or not,but some LED even top shelf may not turn trichs like the hps. Def pull her if you start to see any signs of natural rodelization.

The pics look good. Do a bounce back/knock see if she is good and hard. I relly on a lot more than trichs under LED from my experiences. Even some varieties in the field.

Thank you. That is helpful and good info. I’ve been trying to minimize manhandling the buds as much as possible, but have been starting to check for density. The tallest and fattest buds feel nice and heavy (starting to bend over), bud mid plant buds and popcorn are a bit looser.

And yes, I am under an LED, HLG 100.

imo i would give her a chop, i always chop the tops and everything that is ready and i will let the lowers go for another week or so to fully develop

This weekend (earlier in the weekend versus later aka like Friday night/Saturday morning versus Sunday night) should be perfect, good job. You're right at the finish line!
