Hi im just wondering if i can fold fan leaves to expose other part of the plant to more light.i know theres lst but didnt want to try that just yet.what im thinking is tie something around the big fan leaves to stop blocking the light.ill post a couple pics for a better idea.also its because there is nodes underneath the big leaves being blocked.but would i need to do it when its flowering as people say the fan leaves are used mainly for veg growth.and some say take them off after that but others say shouldnt remove leaves.so was thinking gently tieing around the leaf to close it has gotta be less stressful to the plant than just cutting it off? Like this....

That is LST. Low Stress Training.
Yeah you can do that. Tie them off in the morning and let them free at night, do that until your lower sprouts are long enough to just tuck the leaf beneath it. Make sure the leaf does get some time in the light each day (before you tuck it) otherwise it's just gonna go yellow and stop.
