I've been searching and I've only found charts for photos. I need one for soil. I'm using food soil, flora nova grow and bloom ,calmag and recharge. After mixing grow at quarter strength and calmag at half strength my ppm Is 754. I'm not adding till week 3 but I'm worried ppm Is to high water is 78ppm with nothing added. Anyone have a ppm chart for autos from seedling to flower in soil. Thank you for your time.

I'm using fox farm ocean forrest with 50% perlite. I know the soil has nutrients enough for 3 weeks Maybe more I'm worried I'll burn it up when I add the nutrients. Can anyone recommend a safe range to start with. It's my first grow.

hey buddy im not a soil grower but most people start about quarter strength wich not including your water should be somewhere around 300ppm. max strength is around 1200. i check the manufacturers recs for full strength to get the ratios and start at 10% for seedlings. if your worried about your soil being a bit hot then maybe wait till you start seeing the first signs of deficit before you feed. bottom leaves will start turning yellow once she gets a bit thirsty but wont cause any harm as long as you dont wait too long. @guerillagrower#65 your a mud slinger, whats your process mate?

Ive never measured ppm .......i just buy decent bug free soil mix with 50 /50 perlite give a good mix with tepid water and leave it for a week before use ,am bad i dont even ph my water anymore as its constantly around 6.8 and after nutes it drops to around 6.3.....fraid im not the most technically minded.......i tend to just try deal with issues if and when they arise

true but its still handy to use it . especially for newbies. manufacturers recomendations can be scary high. full strength on my nutes is 2500ppm and they say to feed that from late veg. not a chance in hell my plants would survive that. mine are huge and still wont take more than 1200 most of the time. seen a lot of folk fry plants or stunt them from over strength feeds, always better to be safe than sorry. saves you a few quid on nutes aswell
: )
