Hello all and a happy christmas!

My baby is not in the best of form ;-( I haven't got any help before hand but she is building the precious bud and I want her to get to the end!

Quick setup overview: NL strain, DWC - 14l, advanced nutes, 300w cfl, grow tent; temps 18-26 & 30-50 RH, lights on 22/2.

The latest change last sat I upped the nutes and gave her a 3rd nute burn of her life hence the bad nute burn but this was only with 18ml of Micro and Bloom so way way less than half of recommended feed!

The issue Ive got is the yellowing...can anyone have a look at her and see what can be done to rectify/improve her health!

any advice will be greatly appreciated

Whats your ph? Your lacking magnesium. Cal likes 6.0 pH ... So if you have a pH lockout, don't go overboard on the cal mag... Just bring it back to 5.5-6. pH and watch. Maybe a foliar spray to assist in the healing.

Take a toothbrush to your airstone my friend also. Giver a nice clean I you have not. Make sure your roots are playing nicely in the pool...I clean mine every week. They WILL NOT be working 100% if you don't clean them often. And if you don't soak them. They never work 100% Im rambling.

Also whats your

nutes
EC/PPM
supps
water temp
ph
RH you gave, air temp you gave

Hi Cowboy thank you for the fast response!

pH has been running from 5.6 to 6.1 over this week.

Res change last Saturday I put in 18ml Micro and 18ml Bloom in 14 liters. I use tap water and leave it for 24hrs so ppm of water was 250 after nutes it was 584 going up to 649 over night and has stayed at that this week.
I gave her a shot of 5ml of calmag this morning as I had a suspicion it was one or the other!

I do put in some H2O2 every couple of days.

I'll be honest cowboy I dont know the res temp..she is due for a res change tomorrow so I will measure as I have a thermometer to do it and will update.

I will get the toothbrush on the airstone while doing the change, I have only been running it in a H2O2 solution while changing the res to clean it so thank you for that tip!

I am a complete novice so I have never heard of or ever done a root clean! Could you please advise me on how you do this. The roots have gone into the res and sort of matted/tangled on the bottom to create a sheet of roots...is it worth trying to separate if possible? I will get a picture of the roots before I touch them tomorrow and get it posted on here.

DWC- yup, that's Mg defc.,... to treat, toss in another dose to get the levels elevated for a bit,... I don't know DWC well either, but your res' temp. is very important for proper nutrient absorption... mid 70's F I believe... You could also foliar spray as well; this is the fastest way into the plant, and bypasses any potential trouble in the root zone,... You'll need a good sprayer than can provide a fine mist, and a surfactant, aka water spreader/wetting agent, to help it coat evenly and stick better, rather than just bead up! Any horti-store will have some,... Spray tops and bottoms of leaves, to maximizes surface area coverage, then place the plant away from direct light until it's mostly dry (to avoid potential droplet light burning),... don't spray during dark period, or place an wet plant back in, to avoid mold issues! This is a very good method to learn for all kinds of thing, including pest treatment-

be very careful with the H2O2. once a week is more than enough. don't mess with the roots. I'm going to stop using multi-pot style reservoirs for just this reason, you can't deal with individual plants. I'm building a multi-bucket RDWC to replace my totes.

Are the Advanced nutrients you are using the pH Perfect ones? If so, your tap water could also be a contributing factor. pH Perfect was designed for use with RO water. AN recommends that the starting ppm of the source water be between 100 - 125 ppm, otherwise it won't work properly. When I first tried it I was also using tap water that had been left to sit and also bubbled. I experienced a lot of issues with those plants, so much so I stopped using it until I installed an RO system to filter my water and reduce it's starting ppm.

Hi muddy, yes it the pH perfect and using tap water with the ppm still being between 250-265 after 24hr..if you have been experiencing troubles then I will switch to different nutes...what are you using at the minute? I previously looked at the advanced grow and bloom (Part A+B)... Will switching nutes through the grow have any negative affect? Waira thank you for you input I have started to put another 5ml of calmag in today. Thank you Pop22...for a little stint I was putting in 5ml per day but I will just put a dose in every res change! Did the res change on her yesterday ppm of tap was 260, added 15ml Micro, 15ml Bloom, 5ml calmag and 5ml H2O2 with a pH of 5.8. She seems to have taken it well with no new nute burning. Many thanks to all of your help :)
