Live Stoner Chat Can an S1 stand up to the original?

Afternoon gents

I’m a happy chapy I’ve finally managed to get hold of a S1of my favourite strains (couldn’t get clones mailed to me back in the uk) I just wanted to know through your experience can an S1 live up to the original?
the seeds are from two lovely dank cuts one was an Pre 98’ bubba kush the other from a Ken’s original granddaddy purple . Now I know they won’t be exactly the same as the version I’ve tried but could they be very similar to their respected mothers were Or will it be a long pheno hunt for me ?

sorry my bad he self pollinated them on them selfs for me not together , I was having a vape and a tea and wasn’t really paying attention to what I was writing

So basically I have two different set of seeds that are S1’s of Ken’s gdp and 98 bubba k Not crossed together .
I was just wanting to hear other people’s experiences using an S1 of their favourite strains and how close it was to the original or maybe even better in some way .

Oh , ok.. S1's can go either way. There could be better phenos, there could be worse. But usually they are similar to the moms in most ways.
