Calculating % run off

Got 3 plants in 3 gals fabric pots that are 2.5 weeks old.
How do you estimate 20% runoff? Is it 20% of the pot size? 20% of the water given to one plant? 20 % of the amount of mix prepared?
How much water should be given to ONE plant in 3 gals fabric pot including 20% run off?
They're in coco.

Coco I fed 3 gallon pots twice a day. A gallon would normally cover 4 plants in veg, 2 in flower.

These are rough estimates, your tent environment will have your girls going thru more or less.

If a gallon goes in, just under a quart should come back. Half a gall, half that. You can see how if your in soil or coco, and how you pack your pots compared to someone else, your rH... can all effect how much you use total, and how often, thus effecting your ending amont.
