Metal Sandusky cabinet converted for grow 6' tall, 36" wide and only 18" deep. inside dimensions smaller due to reflective foam board lining.

Growing: Secret Garden Seeds Pinkbud x Fruit Salad F2 (pinksalad)

Lighting: Blackstar Chrome Series 4 spot LED, Califorinia Light Works Solarflare 200w 5w LED

Supplemental lighting: Sunshine Systems GrowSpot Mixed spectrum LED spotlight (12w), also might use some cfl

grow medium: M3 Medical Marihuana Mix,(organic)
1st Place - High Times Medical Marijuana Cup - Detroit, MI 2011
Seeds will be started in seedling mix however then transplanted into the M3 in my air-pots
Only 7 pots will fit in the cabinet i will have 4 of the 1.5gal air-pots and 3 of the full 2gal air-pots


I hope to have regular updates with many pics
i've only used the solar flare LED for a short time to finish my last grow so i'm curious to test it vs the blackstar and i want to see how the M3 soil performs. it claims to be a only water needed mix so we'll see. i'd like this grow to be totally organic.​

going to start germination of 12 SGS Pinkbud x Fruit Salad seeds tonight and hope for good ratio, but i do want to keep at least one good male for future breeding, I'm thinking of crossing with easy ryder since my wife really likes that auto.

going to soak in distilled water and then into paper towel and plate method, i use a heating pad under it to help and i've had 100% so far...

still 100% germ rate

well took me a day longer than i thought to get them going, had to go get some distilled water, but i'm still rocking a 100% germination rate, but just barely had one seed that didn't want to crack and when it did it only just had a tiny split.

the seed after 12hr in paper towel


and after 24 hr in towl


seedling soil that went into 22oz cups to give them a start


and before and after getting dirty playing in the soil


the little seed that almost wrecked my 100% germ rate we'll see if it actually sprouts...

i still need to wipe the cabinet down and rehang my lights, guess i'll do that tonight after work so these lil ones can have light when they pop up

i think i might tier this grow. since they'll be shorter plants and these cups were super cheap. i'm sure it would be a sloppy mess if i tried to straight transplant these the seedling soil is pretty loose.
