Terple,
Hi,

I'm just wondering what is going on with a couple of my plants. There's brownish burnt spots on them, my last grow had this as well. I'm pretty sure it isn't a pest because I cut off some leafs and put them under a microscope and I didn't see anything. From what I've googled it says it might be a lack of magnesium? I can't say for sure, don't have enough experience yet. If there's anyone out there that might know what this is, I'd really appreciate your input.

Happy growing!

Eh Tom,

I'm using Coco coir with Gaia Green All Purpose and Power Bloom. I haven't checked the run off pH, great point! Totally forgot about that. Here's a few pics of the entire plants.

you have deffo got a lockout what ec or ppm are you feeding her i grow in coco and if you don't feed to run off i find you get lockouts or salt build-up as these are the questions @Waira will ask you and im pretty sure he will get to your thread as he's are plant doctor also are you ph your feed

After initially mixing the nutrients in the Coco I top dress it once a month at 2 tbsp per gal of 1 4-4-4 and 1 2-8-4. Haven't checked the ec or ppm but I pH the water at around 6.5 consistently and 6 for seedlings. Sorry but what's a deffo? And lockout?

Deffo means definetly and lockout is a build up of newtrients in your media also sorry about spelling as im on my phone also have you got an ec meter

Nope, just a ph meter and ppm meter.

Ppm is the same as an ec meter there just called differant things so when you make some food test the ppm and ph it to between 5.8 and 6.2 in coco and put something under your pot to catch some run off it will tell you a lot whats going on

Oh okay, good to know. Thanks

Has she had those fraggy looking leaves all along? If so, it a genetic thing, had a couple myself,.. all showed very bitchy nute sensitivity, poor vigor, just plain inferior across the board... No fixing it either, so ride her out best you can,....
Coco is not a forgiving medium, a lot of do's and don't's as it's not a true soil... really, it's meant for hydro-type growing, frequent milder feeding, lot's od run-off...
Gaia, these are dry nutes, organic? Also not a good way to roll with coco... any organic needs the soil microbes to help break down and release the nutes in them... Any inoculant going in? Without it, things are even slower getting into the plant....
