New Grower Burned from light?

hey guys, noticed the top most leaves turned yellow / red and looks burned.

I have a 600w led it says 30cm is safe and it’s provably a little closer but there is no heat, but the stuff I saw online didn’t quite fit.

I didn’t do any LST so I can’t stretch too far but I pulled her to the side. Can you tell from the photo?

It's hard to say but that may be from the light. That's rather close, 16 to 18 inches would be as close as I would get.

What are your day and night time temperatures? In the winter its gets cool at my place and I get purple stems and reddening leaves.

The gap is 68 to 73 right now, it’s pretty well controlled the tent helps a lot. I have a 6’ tent and the light is an inch from the top, it just kept growing up more and more.

Try to keep that cola away if you can. Looks like light burn to me

I talked with a buddy of mine last night and he said you do not have to have heat for a powerful LED light to damage your plants. He said to keep a close watch as your buds mature as they can be bleached white from the light if you are not careful.

Yup! Pistols will get shriveled and burned too. Try to go by the manufacturer recommendation as light intensity is as bad as heat.

One last question, would you top that bud? The leaf below are fully green, will I shock or damage my yield by cutting the top? Just the top node about 1” down

No way! Yes you lose yield, it's too late for that kind of cutting.
